UGANDA FREEDOM FEBRUARY
Uganda
Dates: February 2022
Cost: $3600
Overview: We are bringing Freedom to Uganda through training and integration of small groups at Daystar Cathedral. We will worship at Daystar Cathedral with thousands of members of our Daystar family, and visit other of our campuses to encourage and worship with them. We will partner with our teams in Uganda to do some incredible outreaches for the community. A visit to the Kinyamaseke orphanage and House of Hope school in Mbarara will round out service in Uganda. A fun free day will include a water safari to see the amazing wildlife in Uganda in their natural element.
Medical requirements: Series of vaccinations and following of covid restrictions required.

Overview: Participants will work with Send Me Refuge to minister to people who live in the city landfill and surrounding communities. Projects will include distribution of food, water purification buckets, mosquito nets and shoes as well as other necessities for these people. Participants will also interact with the children at the school and feeding center in the dump. In doing this, the Gospel of Christ will be shared. Physical requirements: moderate walking over some rough terrain.
Medical requirements: No vaccines required. Please notify leaders of any medical conditions or food/medication allergies. Limited medical care available.

PHILIPPINES
Philippines
Dates: August 9th-18th 2022
Cost: $3200
Overview: The missions team will be working with the staff and children at Helping Hands Healing Hearts Orphanage and Critical Care Units in Baguio and Olongapo, Philippines. We also will be traveling to Davao in the southern part of the Philippines and partnering with Releaser of Life Church and the Synergy School of Ministry in community transformation projects to minister to the people in their area. Free time will be visiting the beautiful beaches and volcanos of the Philippines…an experience that you will not forget!

THAILAND
Thailand
Dates: October 18th-26th 2022

Overview: Our missions team will partner with Agape international to help with church planting and ministry to the unreached people in the 1040 Window. Other ministry opportunities will also include working with our partners that deal with child sex trafficking prevention, rescue, and healing at the Thailand/Myanmar border. Fun day will include taking in the beauty of Thailand, riding elephants and petting tigers!

Overview: During this trip we will minister to people in cities that Jesus and his disciples lived and ministered. We will also travel to Greece to visit key areas to better understand Jesus’ life and ministry.

MEXICO CHRISTMAS TRIP
Mexico Christmas Trip
Dates:
Team 1: Nov 30th- Dec 6th 2022
Team 2: Dec 6th-13th
Cost: $1600 each
Overview: Participants will work with Send Me Refuge to collect, organize, wrap and distribute Christmas gifts and food to children in the city dump and surrounding communities. Team members will partner with interpreters to go in groups of 2-3 into the homes to deliver the gifts and share the Christmas story of the birth of Christ. We will also serve the children at the school and feeding center. This is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family!

DAYSTAR MISSIONS
We are all called to do God’s good work by reaching the lost. Missions at Daystar Church believes that every person, group, & family can be involved in missions one way or another. It might not look the same, but everyone is called to do something to reach the Lost for God. We have three pillars of mission that we believe everyone can do.

PRAY
At Daystar Church, we support missions partners that are across the world doing things that we can’t even imagine doing. We believe that the connection we have with them is more profound than just giving to their ministry. It is connecting with them on all different levels. One of those levels is prayer. We pray for them daily, and they know that we have their “ backs” in their ministry. If you can’t give or go, please pray for our many mission partners. They genuinely appreciate the prays and all the words of encouragement through the connection that we have formed with them.If you would like more information on our mission partners, please stop by our mission booth in the lobby to get a list of them so that you can pray for the individual.
GIVE
Give is such a crucial part of how missions run. When you give to missions, your giving goes to help our mission partners around the world, including here in Alabama. Our mission partners depend on churches like Daystar to help them with a unique project that is vital to their ministries. Without people giving to daystar missions or Heart For The Kingdom, there would be many kids left on the streets, cities with no clean water, and many people who would not hear the word of God. “Going” the most significant step of faith anyone could take when it comes to doing the work of God. When you go, you have decided that your hands and feet are for God’s good work, and he will use them. At Daystar, we have great trips that go every year, local and overseas. Every trip is prayed for and selected with the mindset to reach the Lost for God. Our mission trips start with a crucial couple of months before the trip, where you will sign up in a small group for the trip. Here you will first hear about the trip and get to know about the missions partner you will be working with. We encourage every trip to meet multiple times before leaving to promote unity and growth.
