Cheryl and I have been at Daystar for 11 years and in pastoral ministry for over 26 years. We have spent the majority of service in student and family ministry but have always been connected to the creative culture of church change.

We have spent fourteen years of our lives, raised our family, established life-friendships, and invested our hearts in the Cullman area. The love of Jesus Christ, our church family, and our community are synonymous with us and bring focus to how we live our lives each day.

Cheryl and I have been married for 24 years, and there is no way God could have chosen a better partner in ministry for me. She is a highly respected professional in the community, a beautiful bride, and an incredible mother of four children. K.J. is a junior at Auburn studying Physical Therapy, Jaron is pursuing church ministry at Daystar and education at Wallace State. K.J. and Jaron are spiritual leaders in their generation and great ambassadors for our family. Both were soccer state champion goalkeepers in high school and. Kyleigh is starting her freshman year at Cullman High School, and Lana is in seventh grade at the middle school. Both of our beautiful girls are accomplished swimmers, friends to everyone they meet and bring so much joy and drama to the Potter house!
